Item Types

Columns

Columns is typically used to display names of people in a class, but can be used for any type of information that should be displayed in multiple columns.

Date

Date is similar to a Title, but when you edit the bulletin, it automatically fills in the date for the next bulletin. By default, it will be next Sunday, but you can set that to any day of the week or disable automatic dates using the Date setting.

Hymn

The Hymn item allows you to specify a hymn by hymn number, language, and hymn book. Select "Children's Songbook" to chose a song from that book. All other hymn books should be selected automatically.

The title will be supplied automatically, but you can change the title if needed. When a viewer of the bulletin taps on a hymn item, the hymn will open for viewing.

Music

The Music item displays similar to hymn but is used for other music where a hymn number is not available.

Name

Name displays a label on the left side with a name on the right separated with optional dots.

Article

An Article has an optional heading (title) with one or more paragraphs of text. The text can be styled and you can add links and images. Note that you cannot add images directly. You can only add a link to an image that is already available to link to online. (See Images for more information)

Markdown

Markdown allows you to enter paragraphs with styling, images, links, etc. using Markdown text. Here is a good Markdown cheatsheet for reference: Markdown Cheatsheet (opens in a new tab)

Events

Events are normally added to a calendar. Multiple events can be added to an Events type. Click on the + at the end of the events list to add an event. Click on an event to change the day, weekday, time, and event name.

Divider

Displays a divider line

Gap

Use Gap to create vertical spacing in your bulletin. There is a separate gap value used when printing.

Image

Use Image to place on image in the bulletin. Enter the URL for the image or select an image from the Church's Media Library by clicking on the Media Library button.

Pagebreak

When printing the bulletin, it is sometimes necessary to insert a page break at a specific location in the bulletin. Insert a Pagebreak item to do that.

Title

A Title is normally bold, centered text with a large text size. You can, however, modify any of those attributes.
